On Saturday the 13th and Sunday 14th of August, the inaugural ShedTech conference was held at Peppers Resort at Kingscliff. The conference was the ideal setting for the ShedTech guys to meet our distributors and users of the ShedTech software. Right off the bat ShedTech would like to thank the suppliers who contributed towards and presented at the conference. Without your valued input, the conference would not have been the success it was. We would also like to thank the conference staff at Peppers Resort for a smooth experience and lastly to everyone that attended. |

One of the main reasons for the conference was to look at all the new features being released in the upcoming v3 release. Demonstrations of the new stud frame, patio and attached awning were demoed live to the attendees. The reception was excellent and we are now working madly to have the next version of the ShedTech software released as soon as possible. The dinner session and after-hours networking were invaluable for all concerned and some important awards were given out. Our thanks go to Dantera for providing the trophies based on powder-coated RHS beams in true sheddie style. |

We would like to thank all attendees who contributed towards the laptop raffle. ShedTech bought a new laptop that was used for presentations during the conference, and asked attendees to purchase tickets to win the laptop with all proceeds going to charity. Thanks to your generosity we were able to raise $935 which has been donated to canteen for young people living with cancer. Congratulations to Dave Cumming from Custom Sheds who won the laptop and apparently needed a new one. Dave, Justin and Duke would like to thank you all for attending and appreciate the kind remarks and comments from you all. In answer to the most common question: "When is the next conference?"; the answer is as always, buy more sheds.
